We are a large employer, and you get access to our extensive network. To be employed for part-time work, you need to have another main occupation that takes up more than half of your time, such as studying or a job that is more than 50%.

Frequently asked questions about being a student at Manpower

How much can I work part-time?

It depends on your other commitments. If you have another job and want to work part-time, you may need to check with your current employer to see if this is allowed or if there are any rules in your employment contract against it. If you are a student receiving study grants, you need to adjust according to your income limit, which means you can only earn up to a certain amount each calendar half-year. Can I work part-time from home?

Some part-time jobs can be done from home, especially customer service jobs. However, extra staff are usually needed for on-site jobs, such as customer hosts, store salespeople, warehouse workers, and drivers. To check that your CV and attachments have been uploaded correctly, you can log in to your profile in our candidate database and go to the Profile section. If it looks correct to you, our recruiters can also see your information. When you update your profile, it is automatically updated for our recruiters as well. The formats for CVs that are easiest for our recruiters to open are PDF and Word. If you use another format, we recommend converting the document to a PDF to ensure it can be opened.

Has my application been received?

You can easily check if your application has been received by logging into your profile in our candidate database. Under Applications, you will see if the name of the job listing is there. If it is, your application has been received by us.

How does the recruitment process work?

The recruitment process for our part-time jobs varies depending on the position. First, you need to apply for the job by submitting a CV and/or a cover letter. Then, a selection process usually takes place, which sometimes includes a number of screening questions you need to answer. If you move on to the interview stage, there is typically a first phone interview followed by a group interview with other candidates.
