Your responsibilities
As the Tax Manager Northern Europe, you will be responsible for all tax matters in Norway and Sweden and provide support to our businesses in Denmark, Iceland and the Baltics in tax related tasks.
- Provide tax planning, tax reporting and tax compliance follow-up for Northern Europe in line with requirements from Heidelberg Material Group and Financial Director Northern Europe
- Responsible for all tax returns in Swedish and Norwegian companies, including questions and inquiries from tax authorities on tax returns and/or related to tax audits
- Assist Shared Service Center Northen Europe in tax calculations
- Responsible for training and implementation of a new tax reporting tools in Northern Europe, provided by Heidelberg Material Group
- Responsible for Transfer Price documentation in Sweden and Norway
- Supervisory responsibility for tax returns, tax compliance, Transfer Price documentation and tax audits in Denmark, Iceland and the Baltics
- Monitoring Tax risks in the region
- In charge for reconciliation of Northern Europe consolidated tax accounts in each legal closing, in Operating Plan and in Forecasts, including related documentation
- Active participation in optimizing legal structure for tax and/or dividend flow purposes
You will report to the Financial Director Northern Europe and will be based in Stockholm.
Your profile
We believe that the ideal candidate for this position has a relevant university degree together with 5 -7 years of experiences from tax related matters and solid knowledge about Swedish and/or Norwegian tax rules and regulations. Relevant experience could be working with tax at a large corporation or a consultancy firm. If you have worked in an international organization, it is seen as an advantage. Good communication- and presentation -skills in English is required, both written and verbal. Swedish is preferred.
