We are looking for a new Head of Production Development and Quality to our department in Naval Combat Systems Production Järfälla. Your role As Head of Production Development and Quality you will lead a team consisting of Production Engineers and Quality Engineers, but also be completely responsible for the test infrastructure in the NCS production. The team is responsible for new product introductions as well as technical maintenance of existing production and Quality in purpose to meet customers' expectations. As the group consists of several disciplines you are expected to secure the production quality in a long- and short term perspective, ensuring an efficient and effective production preparation, where standardization and keeping variation at a minimum will be corner stones. Ensuring performance, quality and delivery of products and services, ensure that the requirements are fulfilled and that the operations is continuously improving. You will also be responsible for ensuring an efficient and effective test fleet where reuse, standardization and keeping variation at a minimum is the objective. This includes cooperation in design processes of new test equipment, and maintenance of existing test fleet to meet or exceed production needs. Your daily work requires excellent communication skills, since you will be facing a wide range of internal stakeholders. Your primary focus will be your managers and colleagues within Production Järfälla, but you will also work closely with departments within Surveillance business unit Naval Combat Systems. Your responsibilities in short: * Translating Saab, Surveillance and Production strategies into clear and well-communicated targets for your organization. * Full responsibility for results within your area, which includes safety and health, quality, delivery capacity, efficiency and finance. * Coaching and development of abilities and competences in your team and by so growing your staff to take on more complex and demanding tasks. * Empower your employees through value driven leadership. * Follow up and take actions based on the organizations' different KPIs for efficiency, budget, quality and capacity * Ensure that the Operations Management System is established, documented, implemented and maintained in accordance with the valid quality policy, customer requirements and requirements from authorities and other stakeholders * Plan, perform and follow-up internal and external audits, and ensure that any non-conformances are handled timely together with responsible departments within Production. * Monitor the ongoing performance and outputs of the production * Maintain and improve certain quality processes, such as First Article Inspection (FAI), Non-Conformance Report (NCR) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA). Required skills: * Bachelor or Master of Science in Engineering, adequate educational or equal working experience * Skills to combine strategic thinking with operational actions * Strong business understanding and customer focus * Proven ability to develop and challenge the organisation and employees * Minimum three years of leadership experience within a relevant area * Skilled in communications * Excellent skills in spoken and written Swedish and English As a person, you are positive, structured, curious and self-driven. This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection.
